Tee Austin joined Scout in 2017 and serves as Director of Operational Compliance, responsible for the Regulatory and HSE departments at Scout.
Tee received her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix (Oklahoma) and her Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix (Texas). She has 17 years of industry experience in a variety of management roles, spending most of her career focused on regulatory compliance, process efficiency, team building, data gaps, financial assurance and internal cost saving measures.
In 2005, she joined Chesapeake Energy, working in the engineering department in multiple roles. She relocated to Dallas-Fort Worth in 2007 to focus on Chesapeake’s regulatory compliance across its Barnett Shale assets, becoming Regulatory Operations Manager in 2011. While at Chesapeake she led the team that helped pioneer urban drilling in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for 10 years before transitioning to Scout.
Tee is also a member of the North Texas Chapter of the Women’s Energy Network. She has a passion for helping disadvantaged youth and serves in several roles at her church.
