Collin Mock joined Scout in 2016 and is responsible for asset sourcing, negotiation, and strategic initiatives.
Collin earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Economics from the University of North Texas, Juris Doctor from Texas A&M University School of Law and Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University. Previously, Collin served as In-House Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for Scout, responsible for private fund structuring and negotiation, structuring and closing of the Funds’ revolving debt facilities, working in conjunction with the Vice President and General Counsel on asset level transactions, and the development, monitoring and enforcement of the Firm’s securities compliance function. Collin began his career at Scout as a legal associate, responsible for providing counsel to management within the company, coordinating with external counsel and general contract drafting and risk analysis.
Collin is a member of the Dallas Bar Association, Dallas Petroleum Club and ADAM Energy Forum. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Texas A&M University School of Law Alumni Board.
