Rebecca Peralta joined Scout in 2013 and serves as Division Controller responsible for all property accounting and acquisition accounting.
Rebecca is a Cum Laude alumnus from University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Information Management. She has 17 years of accounting experience in the oil and gas industry. Prior to joining Scout as Senior Property Accountant in 2013, she spent seven years in multiple positions at Merit Energy including Senior Property Accountant and Senior Marketing Analyst. Her experience includes property and production accounting, industry specific accruals, acquisition and divestiture accounting, royalty and tax.
